COVID-19: New Clinic Procedures

Phase 2 of the Alberta Relaunch strategy began on June 12, 2020. This allowed all wellness clinics to open. We have opened our doors for business again to serve your health needs. To help keep the risk of transmission of the Covid virus as low as possible we have brought in some new procedures. Please read through them before attending your next appointment.

  1. We will be doing a pre-screening before your appointment and asking you about the following:
    • Fever
    • Cough or shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Muscle pain
    • Headache
    • Sore throat
    • Loss of smell or taste
  2. If you are sick or suspected sick we are not able to treat you at this time. Please stay at home. We have reduced our cancellation policy to a matter of hours, so if you feel something coming on please reschedule your appointment.
  3. When you arrive at the clinic please remain in your car and let us know you are here. We will let you know when we are ready for you and will be asking the pre-screening questions again.
  4. You will be asked to sign a waiver regarding your state of health and understanding that coming to us for treatment increases your risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus and you are willing to accept the risk.
  5. Please have any friends/family members with you remain outside the clinic to help us protect all of our patients.
  6. You must wear a mask at all times inside the clinic. Please bring your own (cloth or surgical). We will have some disposable masks for sale if you forget.
  7. Upon entry into the clinic please sanitize your hands. We will take your temperature and have you sign a few new forms regarding your health status and acceptance of the increased risk of contracting COVID-19 when getting a treatment.
  8. At this time we are not doing any direct billing as reception staff will be busy with increased cleaning tasks. Preferred methods of payment are touchless:
    • Pre-pay online with your credit card.
    • Email transfer of funds to the clinic.
    • Wave your chip card over the machine.
  9. If you need to use the bathroom please close the lid before flushing, follow the 20 second hand washing routine and open the door with your paper towel before exiting the washroom.
  10. We will be working on a reduced schedule to help minimize contact between our guests. Please be patient as we work to accommodate all appointment requests.
